TJ has worked and studied as an actor in theatre, film/television, and commercials for over 20 years.
He can be seen on screen in Stephen King's Dreamcatcher, CW’s Batwoman, Riverdale, Dead Like Me, Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, Transporter, Mayday, and Private Eyes on Global, among other credits.
He has also performed on stages across Toronto, including Soul Pepper’s productions of Cowboy vs. Samurai and Vimy, One More and The Bill at the Toronto Fringe Festival, and Gracemoon Arts’ Toyer, just to name a few. He also took on the role of Tommy in John Patrick Shanley's The Dreamer Examines His Pillow touring Toronto, Ottawa, and New York.
Over the years, TJ has acquired a notable career in commercials, expanding his work to include being a spokesman and often performing his own stunts. Some of his commercial credits include IKEA, Canadian Club, Nissan, Lays, Burger King, Richards Red, and KFC to name a few.
TJ has recently expanded his resume to include working behind the camera. This includes his award-winning debut series as a writer, actor, and creator, Bradley Borgen - The Actor Who Could Not Cry, Gracemoon Arts’ Little Wars, and various scripts currently in development.
His love for comedy and writing brought him to the Humber College program for Comedy writing and performance where he received the President’s letter for Academic achievement. He was also a semi-finalist in Yuk Yuks Great Canadian Laugh off.
TJ is a proud father and husband who continues to work on his craft in his pursuit of an adventurous and artistic life.
